What Distance Healing Actually Is

In short

Fernanda describes a distance session simply. You rest at home at a time you've agreed on. She holds a quiet space on her end for the length of a normal session, then sends you a short message about what she noticed. For her, energy moves between people and doesn't stay in one room. And the body can't always tell being somewhere from vividly imagining it. She says honestly that nobody knows exactly how it works, and you don't need to believe in it.

  • You agree on a time, lie down somewhere quiet at home, and simply rest.
  • She holds the space for a normal session length and sends a short message afterwards.
  • For her, energy moves between people, whether they are on her table or far away.
  • People may feel warmth, tingling, calm, sleepiness, or nothing, and there is no wrong way.

Right now, somewhere in the Lower Mainland, someone is lying on their couch with their eyes closed. I'm not in the room. I'm not even close. And their shoulders are dropping anyway. I'm Fernanda. I've been an energy healer for over twenty years, and distance sessions are some of the most misunderstood work I do. So I want to walk you through it properly. So in the next few minutes, I want to show you exactly what happens in a distance session. No hype. And I'll give you a one-minute practice that shows you why it can work. One thing first. This is a complementary practice. It sits alongside your doctor, never instead of them.

Here's what I believe, and I say it to every client who lies on my table. I believe in energy. We are all energy. We are all part of a bigger picture. For me, energy is the vibration and the frequency of each organ. Call it energy, or call it tension. Whatever word feels true for you. And here's the part people miss. That vibration doesn't stay in the room. It moves between people, whether you're on my table or on the other side of the country. So when people ask me how I can work on someone who isn't even in the room, that's my answer. The energy was never really about the room.

So how does that actually work, when I'm not even there? Here's the honest answer. Your body can't always tell the difference between being somewhere, and vividly imagining you're there. Think about the last time you replayed an argument that never happened, and your heart started racing anyway. That's the same body. Your nervous system is always listening. Am I safe? A picture of calm can answer that question almost as well as the real place. You know that feeling when a friend crosses your mind, right before they call? For me, that's the same signal. Just slower, and on purpose. So at a set time, I hold a quiet space for you. You rest at home. And your body starts to soften, on its own.

Your body is a home with many rooms. A session, even a distance one, opens the windows. Here's what I notice, every time, whether you're on my table or somewhere else entirely. Warmth. Tingling. A deep calm that comes on slowly. Sometimes sleepiness, right there in the middle of the day. Old emotions can rise to the surface, things you thought you'd already dealt with. And afterwards, people tell me they feel lighter. Everybody feels it differently. Some feel a lot. Some feel nothing at all, and that's okay too. Which means there's no wrong way to feel a session. There's just your way, and it's allowed to be quiet.

If you're skeptical, good. I want to say something directly to you. I don't need you to believe what I believe. What matters is that this stays a safe space for you to work on yourself. It doesn't matter if you believe it or not. Some of you are here out of curiosity, and that's a perfectly good reason to stay. The truth probably lives somewhere between my definition and yours. And that's fine with me. I couldn't feel as much when I started either. This kind of sensing grows with practice, for me and for you. Nobody knows exactly how this works. I'm not going to pretend I do. But I've watched it enough times, in enough people, to trust it. A lot of my own friends don't believe in what I do. We just respect each other, and that respect goes both ways.

So what does a distance session actually look like, practically? We agree on a time in advance. You lie down at home, somewhere quiet. Your phone goes in another room. You don't have to do anything during it. No performance, no effort required. Just rest. Some people like to light a candle nearby. It's not required. It just helps some people settle. I hold the space on my end, for the length of a normal session, the same way I would with you in the room. And afterwards, I send you a short message. What I noticed, what came up, so you're not left wondering what happened.

Before you go, here is the smallest taste of this. It takes about a minute. Sit back. Let the chair hold you, the same way it holds you at the end of a long day. Close your eyes. Picture your peaceful place. The ocean. A forest. The mountains. Wherever calm lives for you. You don't have to go there. Your body starts to believe it anyway. Feel your muscles soften. Your shoulders. Your jaw. The space between your eyebrows. Now take one long breath out, longer than it came in, like the tide going out. Before you open your eyes, name one thing you're grateful for. Just one. That softening you just felt? That's the same thing I'm working with, from a distance. Nothing more mysterious than that.

That's really all a distance session is. Energy, moving the way it always moves, between two people who care. If you'd like to go deeper, I've put my ten-day journey together. It's called The Nature Reset. The link is below. And if you'd rather rest and let me do the work, there's a link to book a gentle session too. In person, or by distance, from anywhere. We are all energy. We are all part of a bigger picture. And your body doesn't need to know where I'm standing to feel it. I'm Fernanda. Come as you are.

Would you like Fernanda to guide you herself? Sessions are online from anywhere, or in person in the Lower Mainland, BC. Or start with the ten-day audio course.
