Is Energy Healing Real? An Honest Answer

You sit down in the chair, and some part of you is still asking, is this even real? That question is fair. I hear a version of it almost every week. I'm Fernanda. I've been an energy healer for over twenty years, and I still get asked if any of this is real. So today, an honest answer. Not an argument. Just what I actually believe, and where I stop pretending to know. Then one small thing to try before you go. One thing first. This is a complementary practice. It sits alongside your doctor, never instead of them.

A lot of my friends don't believe in a lot of what I do. And we all have to respect each other. So I'm not here to win an argument. I stopped needing that a long time ago. I believe in energy. We are all energy. We are all part of a bigger picture. I don't have a stack of studies to hand you. What I have is twenty years in a room, watching what happens. Some of them still book a session with me. They just don't call it energy healing. They call it the best nap they've had all year. You don't have to believe any of that for this video to be worth your time. Stay anyway.

Here's what real means, for me. Energy is the vibration and the frequency of each organ. When I work on someone, I can feel the density of the air change. Somewhere in the room, something is stuck. I notice it under my hands the way you'd notice a change in temperature. It's that ordinary, to me. I'm not asking you to trust my hands. I'm asking you to notice your own body once the session is over. It's a skill, not a secret. The more I practice, the more I notice. That's all it has ever been. I couldn't always feel this. When I started, I felt so much less than I do now. Twenty years in, and it's still growing. So if you feel nothing at all right now, that just means you're where I started.

It doesn't matter if you believe it or not. What matters is that this is a safe space to work on yourself. Call it energy, if that word works for you. Or call it tension. Call it stress. Call it whatever gets you through the door. Somewhere between my definition and yours, there's a place we can both work from. That's not me softening my belief. That's me making room for yours. You can be a total skeptic and still leave calmer than when you walked in. I watch it happen every week.

Your nervous system doesn't check what you believe first. It's always listening. Is it safe here? So on the table, people notice all kinds of things. Heat under my hands. A heaviness lifting. Tears they didn't expect. None of that proves who is right, me or the skeptic beside you. It just tells us that something moved. And some people notice nothing at all. Not one thing. That's not failure. That's just how they're built today. Everybody feels in a different way. I stopped expecting one answer a long time ago.

So here's what I can honestly offer you. It can help you rest. Soften. Release. Feel a little lighter leaving than you did coming in. Your body is a home with many rooms. A session doesn't rebuild the house. It just opens a few windows. This isn't magic. It's an hour of rest, deep enough that your body remembers how to do the rest of the work on its own. It doesn't fix everything, and I will never once promise you that it does. That's not mine to promise. What it does do is make room for you to be still for an hour, which turns out to be its own kind of rare. What it can't do is replace your doctor. I say that to every client, and I mean it. You carry too much, and you rarely get a real chance to put any of it down. An hour on my table is one of those chances. Nothing more, nothing less. And here's the honest part. Nobody knows exactly why people feel what they feel on the table. I'm okay with that.

So let's try something small right now. It takes about a minute, and you don't have to believe a single word I've said. Sit back. Let the chair hold you, the same way it holds you at the end of a long day. There's no wrong way to do this right now. There's just your way. Put one hand flat on your chest. Notice the warmth of your hand against your skin. Not the idea of warmth. The actual feeling. Notice the weight of it too. And underneath that, notice your breath, without changing it yet. If you want, let the breath out a little longer than it came in, like the tide going out. You don't have to call any of this energy. You don't have to call it anything. Just notice. That's the whole practice.

It doesn't matter if you believe it or not. What matters is you just gave yourself one full minute of your own attention. Some of you will call this energy. Some of you will call it a really good hour of rest. Either way, you're welcome back. If you'd like more of this, I've put my ten-day journey together. It's called The Nature Reset. The link is below. And if you'd rather have me do the work, there's a link to book a gentle session too. In person, or from anywhere. You don't need my definition of real. You just need a safe place to find your own. I hope this was that. I'm Fernanda. Come as you are.

Would you like Fernanda to guide you herself? Sessions are online from anywhere, or in person in the Lower Mainland, BC. Or start with the ten-day audio course.
